Macavity

Hi everyone, It is not very often that you have a brain wave, and you feel that creative juices have started oozing out in torrents. Well, in one of such moments recently, I decided to write a parody of a famous poem “Macavity” by T. S. Eliot. In fact, he was inspired to write this poem by the stories of Sherlock Holmes, a fictional character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Here’s my version of the poem. Do please read it aloud to enjoy the music of the poem. And, of course, do read the original masterpiece for comparison. Happy reading! Best wishes, Dharmendra https://www.fluentlingua.com/Spoken-English-Detail/Macavity.aspx
